2012 in Review

2012 has come and gone, we survived the end of the world and 6th Edition.

155 posts in the year for me, which isnt too bad, although it would be better if they were perhaps more evenly distributed...

This year I managed 93 Games of 40k in one guise or another. Last year I managed 77, so a nice increase, and good to know I am actually finding time for my hobby.

Overall I managed a 65% win ratio, down in no small part I feel to 6th Edition!

The breakdown is as follows:

Doubles
Necron & Blood Angels
Won: 5
Drawn: 1
Lost: 3

Grey Knights
Won: 24
Drawn: 3
Lost: 11

Grey Knights & Necrons
Won: 3
Drawn: 0
Lost: 1

Grey Knights & Space Wolves
Won: 12
Lost: 1

Imperial Guard:
Won: 4

Necrons:
Won: 13
Drawn: 4
Lost: 8

Not bad when all said and done, although my fondeness of Dreadknights does shine through, as I have played 55 games with Grey Knights involved in some capacity and in every single of those games I have had at least 2 Dreadknights on the table.

The Necrons have also put in a solid performance for me this year, while i have let my Imperial Guard forces gather dust on the shelf. Something to correct for next year I think.

My Opponents throughout this year have been 3+ armies for the most part. It will be interesting to see how much this changes in the next year, and yes that total there is more than the games I played as doubles or games with Allies also got included as a seperate hit.

Codex
Space Marines: 16
Space Wolves: 16
Dark Eldar: 15
Imperial Guard: 15
Blood Angels: 13
Eldar: 7
Orks: 5
Grey Knights: 4
Tau: 3
Necrons: 3
Black Templars: 2
Daemons of Chaos: 2
Dark Angels: 2
Tyranids: 2
Chaos Space Marines: 1
Sisters of Battle: 1
